Another day in Music land Hey, welcome to Mia Boostrom’s website. I'm a singer/songwriter/performer from Dighton Massachusetts. I use my music to help raise awareness for great causes. This year I've worked some really great people who seem almost tireless in their efforts to both help and entertain. Don't get me wrong, I'll play for nearly any event and rock the house, but it's nice when you can do both. I'm fortunate that other people really like my music and last fall, I was offered an opportunity to record my first first demo cd "Lately," with Rawkstars. I learned so much from this experience and now my CD is available on iTunes. If you have requests for cover songs let me know by contacting me here or on myspace! Thanks for coming by.

The CD contains four original songs and one cover of a Bill Withers tune. I’ve been working real hard and have another dozen new songs. But please help me reach my goal of producing a full length CD. Fashion-retailer Torrid is honoring Mia Boostrom with the first ever Dream Maker Award at the "Torrid’s House of Dream’s Fashion Show" on Thursday, September 24th benefiting the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Torrid's is flying Mia to LA for a real "red carpet," event and fashion show to present an award by Hayley Hasselhoff. We're still waiting to see who might be the host at this gala.

Communitiy Auditions Star of the Day is hosting it’s championship round at the fabulous Mohegan Sun. MIa Boostrom and Ayla Brown are special guests of the show and will be available for autographs and chat.

I can honestly say performing on America’s Got Talent is a life changing experience. Everyone from the performers to the producers are simply the nicest people to work with.
It was a fantastic experience.
I have so many people to thank for helping me sing my way into a career. I love writing songs about life, people and emotions. I have some fantastic photos to put on the site - so stay tuned.

About Me
Mia Boostrom lives in Dighton, a small town in Massachusetts, and even though she’s a small town girl, she’s got quite a large singing and song writing talent. Mia Boostrom recently released her first CD, “Lately” with the help of Rawkstars and the CD is available on iTunes. A quarter finalist on this years America's Got Talent, she is gaining fans across the country with her soulful sound and meaningful lyrics. Mia's music is acoustic blues, jazz and pop. She aspires to be original with her simple, yet sophisticated lyrics with catchy and quirky hooks - you won’t be regret seeing a performance.
